WEEKEND PACKAGE (2 Nights / 3 Days)

Day 1 Pickup from IXB/NJP and transfer to Cochrane Place Hotel. Check in with a cup of warm tea.
Cochrane Place is a heritage property, with its legacy extending to 150 years and was once the home of
Mr. Percy John Cochrane, who was the honorable magistrate and Barrister of Kurseong Town. After
having lunch and a little rest you set off for local sightseeing covering Eagle’s Craig, Forest Museum,
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Museum, Dow Hill Pine Forest. Spend some time at local market before
returning to hotel for a sumptuous dinner and a well earned rest

Day 2 After breakfast visit to Makaibari Tea Estate or Ambootia Tea Estate. You will be carrying picnic
lunch with you. Take a small trek from Shib Mandir located nearby to Balason Khola (rivulet), which is a
picnic spot and you can enjoy your lunch amongst nature. The car will be accompanying you and will
bring you back to the hotel by late afternoon. Relish on tandoori (clay oven) dinner.

Day 3 After breakfast you proceed to onward journey

Inclusions: Rooms on AP (all meals), transport will be IXB/NJP TO IXB-NJP basis. For up to 4 persons,
smaller vehicle will be provided in Budget and Deluxe packages and bigger vehicle for more than 4
persons and Exclusive package, all taxes. Does not include entry fees, camera charges (wherever
applicable), laundry, personal expenses and any other which are not mentioned in inclusions. Guide is
optional (Guide Charges Rs.1500 per day)

SAVOUR THE BEST OF KURSEONG ( 3 nights/ 4 days)

Day 1

Day 2 Take a early morning world famous toy train ride from Kurseong to Ghum (the highest railway
station of India, at an altitude of 7407 ft), which departs Kurseong at 06:45 AM. The car will follow you
with packed lunch and will pick you up from Ghum, from where you proceed to Salamander Lake at
Sukhiapokhri (16 kms). The drive is around 45 mins and you will pass through dense pine forest covered
with clouds for most of the time of the year. If you are lucky enough you will be able to spot salamander
(Salamanders are a group of amphibians typically characterized by a lizard-like appearance, with slender
bodies, blunt snouts, short limbs projecting at right angles to the body, and the presence of a tail in both
larvae and adults). You will have your packed lunch at the lake and return to hotel. While returning you
will be covering a distance of 42 kms, which will take around 2 hrs. We will serve you Chinese / Indian
dinner.

TREKKERS PACKAGE (4 NIGHTS/ 5 DAYS)

Day 1
Pickup from IXB/NJP and transfer to Cochrane Place Hotel. Check in with a cup of warm tea.

having lunch and a little rest you set off for sunset walk at St. Mary’s and Grotto and ending at forest
Ranger’s college (3 kms, 40 mins). Spend some time at the local market and return to the hotel for a
sumptuous dinner and a well earned rest

Day 2
Take a early morning world famous toy train ride from Kurseong to Tung/Sonada, which departs
Kurseong at 06:45 AM. You will be served with packed breakfast, which you take at Chimney. Take a trek
from Chimney to Dow Hill Forest Museum (6 kms, 45 mins). Our car will pick you up from the forest
museum and bring you back to the hotel, where you will be served with European Lunch. Evening is free
as you enjoy the beauty of nature as we are surrounded by tea gardens and if weather permits, have a
view of the majestic kangchenjungha. We will serve you Chinese / Indian dinner.

Day 3
After breakfast visit to Makaibari Tea Estate or Ambootia Tea Estate. You will be carrying picnic
lunch with you. Take a small trek from Shib Mandir located nearby to Balason Khola (rivulet) (4 kms, 60
mins), which is a picnic spot and you can enjoy your lunch amongst nature. The car will be accompanying
you and will bring you back to the hotel by late afternoon. Relish on tandoori (clay oven) dinner.

Day 4
Car will drop you at Bagora after you have had your breakfast. Packed picnic lunch will be
provided to you. You take a small trek at Bagora (2 hrs) and have lunch on the way. The car will
accompany you on your trek and will pick you up from Bagora and bring you back to the hotel. Enjoy Pan
Asian cuisine at dinner.

Day 5
After breakfast visit to Monastery and Forest Museum. Then proceed to your next destination

Day 1
Pickup from IXB/NJP and transfer to Cochrane Place Hotel. Check in with a cup of warm tea.

Mr. Percy John Cochrane, who was the honorable magistrate and Barrister of Kurseong Town. A rest day
to negate your long flight or night train. Night stay at hotel, where you will be served sumptuous dinner

Day 2
Take a early morning world famous toy train ride from Kurseong to Ghum (the highest railway

returning to hotel for an Indian dinner and a well earned rest

Day 4
After breakfast leave early for Darjeeling sightseeing (31 kms, 75 mins). Enjoy the Joy Ride (ETD
10:00 AM) on World famous toy train, with steam hauled engine, which are over 150 years old, yet it is
operational and reliable. After Joy Ride, visit places of interest at Darjeeling covering Ghoom Monastery,
Batasia Loop, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park. Enjoy your outdoor
lunch of your choice at Darjeeling. Return to Cochrane Place Hotel in the evening, where we will serve
you with Pan Asian dinner

Day 5
